What actually happens there
Live music, confirmed for 2026
Saturday: Pie and Rafa x Josue. Sunday: Natalie Price and Rachel Laven. The festival notes performers can change with availability.
The latte art competition
Run with the Austin Coffee Collective, who also run the city's monthly throwdowns. Past years carried a $500 prize and a small entry fee for competitors. The festival's 2026 page for it isn't live yet.
“Coffee Convos” panels
Panel talks with people who actually run Austin coffee businesses — past sessions covered food-and-coffee culture and what opening a shop really takes. The 2026 lineup hasn't been announced; the festival's page still shows 2024's.
Tasting, mostly
The heart of it is booths pouring samples, with the people who roasted the coffee standing behind them. Past editions ran 40-plus roasters; this year's published list is at 33 and counting.
Planning your day
- Pick your session first. Tickets are per session, per day, and a pass is forfeited if you don't use it in the window you bought. VIP's extra hour is the quiet one.
- Don't show up late. Booth service ends 15 minutes before the session does.
- Parking is Palmer's. The venue publishes its own directions and parking page; the festival's site doesn't cover it.
- Weather is a non-issue. It's all indoors.
- Bringing kids? Under-13s got in free with an adult in 2024 and 2025. That hasn't been restated for 2026 — worth confirming.
- A cup of your own. In 2023 the festival encouraged attendees to bring a reusable cup. We haven't seen that repeated since, so pack one but don't count on needing it.
