Đậm Coffee Bar

Đậm Coffee Bar is a Vietnamese coffee shop on Clayton Lane in North Austin, directly across the street from ACC's Highland campus. The menu is built around bold, phin-brewed robusta coffee, including egg coffee and salted coffee, alongside matcha and hojicha drinks. Guest pastries from local bakeries rotate through the shop, and the mid-century modern space offers ample seating for studying.

Owner Anh Bao, who immigrated to the U.S. from Vietnam in 2006 and has worked in food and beverage ever since, opened Đậm Coffee Bar with a soft opening on August 7, 2025. Before opening, he returned to Vietnam to study traditional coffee-making methods and draws on family connections in the country's coffee industry for the shop's phin and egg coffee.
