The scoop
Spokesman is a coffee shop by day and a wine-and-beer bar by night, roasting its own coffee at a South Austin production facility and pouring it across three Austin-area locations. The flagship St. Elmo District cafe has ample seating with outlets for working, plus kolaches and rotating food trucks.
Spokesman Coffee got its start in 2016 when St. Elmo Brewing Company brought the young roastery into its Yard project in South Austin. Co-owners Trey Ramirez and CJ West built the flagship into a roaster-cafe-bar hybrid that has since expanded to the Highland and Pflugerville locations.
