Fleet Coffee

Austin's own roaster, pulling shots from a downtown walk-up window since 2016

The scoop

Fleet Coffee is an independent Austin-founded coffee roaster with a walk-up counter on Congress Avenue downtown, one of four neighborhood shops citywide alongside Webberville Road, Manor Road, and Rainey Street. The petite, patio-forward Congress spot pours Fleet's own house-roasted espresso plus a rotating "Coffee And" menu of inventive signature drinks and local pastries.

Fleet Coffee was founded in March 2016 by Patrick Pierce and Lorenzo Perkins, two Austin coffee-industry veterans (Pierce a former South Central Barista Champion and Zagat 30 Under 30 honoree previously of Caffe Medici; Perkins a multi-time Barista Guild of America brewing champion previously of Cuvée Coffee), inside a 364-square-foot triangular space on Webberville Road in East Austin. Pierce became sole owner in 2018 as the brand grew to Manor Road, Congress Avenue downtown, and, in June 2026, a fourth location on Rainey Street inside the expanded Bar Fino building.
