The scoop

La Dosis Coffee + Cocktails is an all-day coffee shop, brunch spot, and cocktail bar in Cedar Park, Texas, pouring Barrett's Coffee alongside breakfast tacos, chilaquiles, and Tex-Mex plates. The space has both indoor seating and an outdoor patio with TVs for sports viewing, plus a full bar for cocktails, beer, and wine. It's a casual, order-at-the-counter hangout known for weekend brunch and game-day crowds, with live music and karaoke on select nights.

La Dosis was opened in early 2025 by the team behind Austin's La Holly and Taco Flats, taking over the former J&J BBQ & Burgers space on Whitestone Boulevard in Cedar Park. It soft-opened to newsletter subscribers on January 31, 2025, with an official grand opening on February 9. The concept was built as a daily hangout combining a coffee bar, brunch menu, and cocktail program under one roof, and later added Barrett's Coffee as its house roaster and a second Besame ice cream location inside the space.
