The scoop
Malone Specialty Coffee is a small-batch coffee roaster and cafe with locations across the Austin metro, roasting all of its own beans on a vintage Diedrich drum roaster at its Wells Branch roastery in North Austin. Cafes serve espresso drinks, nitro cold brew, and a bakery case alongside breakfast, lunch, and dinner items like croissant sandwiches, bagels, cardamom buns, and avocado toast. Beyond its cafes, the company also supplies grocery stores, restaurants, and runs coffee food trucks.
Malone Specialty Coffee started at a kitchen table in 2013 as a family venture built around finding coffee worth drinking without anything to hide behind. It has since grown into a roastery and multi-location cafe operation across North Austin, Cedar Park, and Round Rock.
