The scoop

A West Campus hookah lounge and coffeehouse blending Tunisian and American traditions, serving espresso, coffee, and hot or iced tea alongside iced hookahs in a couch-filled, laid-back space. It doubles as a daytime study spot near UT and a late-night lounge, open into the early morning hours.

Arab Cowboy was started by a couple who met at a Los Angeles cafe: he grew up in Tunisia around hookah and tea culture, she grew up in Kansas with cowboy roots, and together they built a West Campus lounge blending both traditions. Site copyright records date the business to at least 2014.
