The scoop

Daydreamer Coffee's Rainey Street outpost occupies the ground floor of the Paseo high-rise, serving honey oat lattes and matcha drinks alongside pastries from Texas French Bread. It's the Austin coffee mini-chain's second local location and debuted the brand's first-ever wine program, pouring by the glass for after-work patio hangs. Cozy, co-working-style seating and warm tones make it suited to laptop work by day and a glass of wine by evening.

Daydreamer Coffee grew out of LV Collective, an Austin-based student-housing developer that built coffee shops into its residential communities, with the brand's first locations opening at LV Collective's Waterloo and Rambler properties near UT Austin. The concept expanded to Atlanta in August 2023 and has since grown to eight U.S. locations across Texas, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, and Ohio. The Rainey Street shop, Daydreamer's second Austin cafe, opened November 7, 2025 inside the Paseo apartment tower and introduced the brand's first wine program.
