Épicerie
Rosedale's French-Louisiana bistro and grocery, with pastries and pour-over coffee.
The scoop
Épicerie is a French-Louisiana bistro, bar, and grocery in the Rosedale neighborhood, built around chef-owner Sarah McIntosh's cafe-and-market concept. The kitchen serves breakfast croissant sandwiches, housemade pasta, and rotating quiche alongside pour-over coffee, full brunch, and dinner service. A pastry case, covered patio, and an award-winning wine list round out a space that runs as a market by day and a bistro by night.
Sarah McIntosh opened Épicerie in 2012 as an uncomplicated cafe-and-grocery hybrid — the name translates roughly to "grocer's shop" in French. The concept expanded after 2020 with a dedicated pastry program and a bar program led by a master bartender, growing the original market-cafe into a full bistro, bar, and boulangerie.
