The scoop
Halcyon is a Warehouse District mainstay that runs a calm coffeehouse by day and a laid-back cocktail lounge by night, all under one roof at 4th and Lavaca. Espresso drinks and breakfast tacos give way to specialty cocktails, wine, and tabletop s'mores as the evening goes on.
Halcyon has operated in Austin's Warehouse District since 2002, making it one of the longer-running coffee-and-bar hybrids downtown. The concept later expanded to additional locations in San Antonio and Dallas, plus a since-closed Mueller-area outpost in Austin.
