The scoop

Jo's Coffee Downtown is the Second Street District outpost of Austin's iconic "Hot Coffee Good Food" chain, serving diner-style breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch alongside coffee roasted by La Colombe. It's the low-key, food-forward sibling to the famous South Congress location with the mural.

Jo's Coffee was founded in Austin in 1999 and grew into a multi-location local institution known for breakfast tacos, burgers, and hot coffee. The Downtown/Second Street District location opened in 2006, bringing Jo's diner-style menu and coffee bar to the office and hotel crowd near Congress Avenue.
