The scoop
Neon Belly Coffee & Bakery is a coffee house at 8312 Burnet Road in North Austin, pairing specialty coffee from Austin roasters Armadillo, Creature and Flora with fresh-baked sourdough, biscotti, in-house cookies and a Jelly Donut Focaccia the shop calls legendary. The drink menu runs from espresso, cold brew and drip to specialty lattes such as the baklava latte, horchata latte and iced orange macchiato, plus matcha and a range of teas. The space is bright and colorful, with pink ottomans, swirling murals and a hexagonal tile counter, and takeout plus online and app ordering are available.
Neon Belly opened in mid-November 2025 on Burnet Road in North Austin, built by a husband and wife according to the shop's website. Owner Kathleen Wainwright says the whole space is designed to glow, creating a vibrant spot in North Austin's coffee scene.
