The scoop

Alfred Coffee is a Los Angeles-founded specialty coffee brand with a single Austin location inside The LINE Austin hotel lobby on Cesar Chavez, near Rainey Street and downtown. The menu covers espresso drinks, matcha lattes, cold brew, and a daily $3 pastry happy hour, served in a casual lobby space with spaced-out seating. It functions as both a walk-up coffee counter and a place to sit and work with complimentary parking and wifi.

Alfred Coffee was established in Los Angeles in 2013 and built a following there for its minimalist branding and matcha program. This Austin location, inside The LINE Austin hotel, brought the brand outside California for the first time.
