The scoop
Little Brother SoCo is a tiny, walk-up coffee-and-kolache window operating from the corner of Maufrais, a South Congress lifestyle store. There is no indoor seating; it's built for a quick morning stop for drip coffee, espresso drinks, and fresh-baked kolaches. The concept comes from the team behind Wright Bros. Brew & Brew and Better Half.
Little Brother SoCo opened September 17, 2020, founded by Matthew Bolick with brothers Grady and Matt Wright, who previously built Wright Bros. Brew & Brew and Better Half. Maufrais owners Sean and Lauren Greenberg approached the team about adding a coffee window to their South Congress store, and kolaches are baked fresh daily by Better Half's executive pastry chef Lindsay O'Rourke.
