Plaza Colombian Coffee is a South Austin coffee shop, restaurant, and bar serving house-roasted coffee alongside a scratch kitchen menu of Colombian dishes like arepas, empanadas, and patacon. The space includes an outdoor tiki bar with a large rum selection and hosts live music (salsa, merengue, bachata). It has been through at least one menu/format refresh in 2026 while keeping its South Congress Avenue location.
Plaza Colombian Coffee opened on South Congress Avenue in Austin in March 2019. In early 2026 the owners announced a 'format' change on Instagram, closing temporarily (last day of the prior format was February 22) before reopening with a new menu at the same address.
