The Hive is a dual-concept coffee bar and cocktail bar on Menchaca Road in South Austin, serving coffee daily from 7am-6pm and cocktails from noon-10pm alongside a food menu of sandwiches and burgers with Cajun influences. The space centers on an outdoor patio and backyard, with live acoustic sets during weekday happy hour and a family-friendly atmosphere for children until 9pm. It also hosts private events and offers catering.

The Hive began as a coffee and co-working space in South Austin, relocating to its current Menchaca Road address around November 2019. Owned by Shelly Weiser, it has since grown into a dual coffee-and-cocktail concept; a 2024 plumbing and permitting problem in the aging building forced a stretch of outdoor-only operation before normal service resumed.
